Professional experience : I have been working for the French oilseed and protein crops interbranch organization called Terres Univia for 30 years. As an interprofessional organization, Terres Univia puts together the professional organizations which are representative of the companies dealing with oilseed or protein crop products from seed sector until the first processing sector. I joined the interbranch organization after spending 9 years as agronomist in a cooperative of southwestern France where I was in charge of crops diversification programmes and European projects.
I’m now deputy director of Terres Univia as well as manager for economics and value chain department. Regarding the deputy director side, I’m especially involved in the institutional relations, in following-up and monitoring the interprofessional agreement, and the relations with professional organizations and regulatory affairs.
Regarding the economical side of my activity in Terres Univia, the department I’m still managing, is in charge of statistics, of enhancing and disseminating knowledge on the oilseed and protein sector value chain organisation, trade and markets and of encouraging actors to develop emerging or more competitive value chain at different scales.
Education : Initial training: agricultural engineer ENSAT (Toulouse), specialized in plant breeding and genetics.
Postgraduate diploma (DESS, now Master) in business administration at IAE.
